SIEKIO ID. NGO Academy

The Active Citizens Fund aims to build capacities of civil society organisations (CSO) through the development of skills of local leaders operating in regions.  “SIEKIO ID”. NGO Academy offers a long-term learning process with the objective to enable participants to become change agents in their organisation and community. In the long term, the aim is to strengthen the NGO sector by supporting smaller organisations in fulfilling their mission and becoming important partners in the public policy decision-making process on the local level, while enabling non-governmental organisations to plan and implement social entrepreneurship practices.

Organisations may apply to become the “SIEKIO ID. NGO Academy” participants in 2020 or in 2021. The teams of organisations composed of 2-3 representatives of organisations will choose and participate in one of two programmes (the Social Leadership Programme or the Social Entrepreneurship Programme) consisting of 5 learning modules each.
